Growing Beans Norbury Preschool (2 year olds) for 30 hours funding
Funded Hours Session Charges/Additional Charges
Item Per Week Per Month
Food £3.12 £13.50
Other consumables £1.73 £7.50
Activities / outings. £2.08 £9.00
Note for children attending less than 30 hours a week, and so receiving less than 30 hours a week funding, these figures are reduced proportionally. Thus for children receiving 15 hours funding, the figure would be half of the above.
Please note these additional charges are applied from the start of the term after the one in which your child turns 3 years old. So for several months you may be charged a lower rate for these items or even nothing at all depending on your start date
These charges are not mandatory, we can discuss providing your own food or other consumables or your child not being included in the activities and outings if you would like. Please note we do not currently impose any pattern of attendance in order to access the funded hours, other than we cannot allocate you more funded hours than you attend.
Below are the monthly average fees (note this is how most people are charged, by averaging out
your fee over 12 months. The exception is parents who are teachers who can attend term time only, their fee will vary month to month depending on attendance). The below fees are based on 10 hours a day attendance, attendance can be up to 11 hours a day. Note when moving from one age group to another the new fees kick in at the start of the first full term after the one in which you move. This includes when moving from the Nursery to the Preschool.
Please note for funded hours you are only entitled to the amount of hours per week you attend (so if you attend 2 days a week for 10 hours a day we will claim 20 hours for you) and this entitlement is only for 38 weeks a year, so we will average this out across 12 months. For example if you attend 30 hours a week we will claim 30 hours a week for 38 weeks and this will be applied as 95 hours a month free, with 35 unfunded hours to pay for, plus the Funded Hours Additional Charge where noted.
