Please call our admissions team on 02045010894 or email admissions@luckybeanschildcare.co.uk to receive our fees sheet for your chosen nursery or preschool and to arrange a tour.
Do you accept the government’s funded hours support?
Yes. we have a dedicated funded-hours page and can help you to understand what support they may be eligible for.

Because eligibility and how hours are stretched across the year can vary, it’s best to speak to our admissions team about your child’s age, start date and the setting you are interested in.

How do you help babies settle into nursery?
We know starting nursery is a big step for both babies and parents. Our approach to care is bespoke, child-centred care with a home-away-from-home feel, and says each setting is kept small so children can receive more individualised care.
We work closely with parents from the start so we can understand each baby’s routine, comfort, feeding and sleep needs, and make the transition into nursery feel as calm and reassuring as possible.

How do you follow my baby’s naps, feeds and routine?
Every baby is different, so we know routines matter. Our daily routine varies according to children’s ages and stages, and younger children have designated nap times built into the day.
We work with parents to understand each child’s usual pattern around sleep, feeding and comfort, and we do our best to support those routines consistently in nursery. As babies grow and their needs change, we continue to work in partnership with parents so routines can evolve in the right way for each child.

What are the ratios of staff to newborns and babies in the baby nurseries at Tooting?
We adhere to the industry standard of 1 staff member to 3 children for 0-2 year-olds.
As a nursery company with a forest school ethos, we spend a significant amount of time outdoors. When outdoors, we maintain higher staff-to-child ratios to ensure the children can explore and learn safely and under proper supervision.

What sort of food do you serve? Can you work with my child’s allergies?
We provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as two snacks each day, all freshly prepared by our in-house chefs. Our nutritious and tasty meals are designed to fuel your child’s body and mind. Of course, we also believe in balance, so we include a few treats because some foods are simply good for the soul!
All our chefs and relevant staff are trained in food hygiene and hold at least a Level 2 Certificate. We are fully understanding and accommodating of all dietary requirements – just let us know.
If your child is weaning, don’t worry – we have successfully supported many children through the weaning process.

What is the daily routine at the nursery?
The exact things that we do will vary from day to day and month to month, both to keep the children interested and to best progress the children towards their learning goals.
However, in broad strokes, a day will progress like this:
-
