All of our settings are located in family friendly neighbourhoods throughout South West London. Each of our settings are in safe, secure environments near parks and other outdoor spaces in keeping with our forest school ethos.

Lucky Beans' story

Lucky Beans Childcare was founded by positive psychologist, Dr. Caroline Curtis in September in 2016. She started her childminding business from her house, and since then Lucky Beans has had nothing but happy parents.

From the outset, Caroline had the vision of providing excellent care for children, through positive parenting and strengths-based methods for nurturing children and enabling them to thrive. Lucky Beans therefore allows children to gain life-skills and to be happy.

Over the past 5 years, and due to the growing demand from parents for places at Lucky Beans Balham Childminding, Lucky Beans child nursery has expanded; opening an additional 5 children nurseries across South West London, totalling 6 childminder and nursery places.

The core values to caring for your child

Nutritious food - Healthy and nutritious meals for each child. All of our food is mostly organic and made by our on-site chefs.

Outdoor learning - The forest school ethos of active outdoor child-led learning is integral to our outdoor curriculum. Each day, we arrange several fun outings in order to expand the learning process beyond the classroom.

Strength-based support - We involve children in a wide array of healthy and active activities from ballet to basketball. It is a wonderful way for children to bond through a common activity and develop important life skills whilst staying healthy and active.
